Hello my Cleveland brotherin,

My brother and I are going on a cross country road trip to get all his stuff to Travis Air Force base in California and Cleveland is one of our stops.

Looking for some good suggestions in food / entertainment!

Thanks boys

An hour west of Cleveland is arguably the best collection of "world-class" roller coasters in the world.  https://www.cedarpoint.com/

Depends on what kinda food you like. Can't go wrong with Little Italy, and we have our own version of China Town too, both of which are great. If you like Mexican, try Barrio. Aside from those, there's a number of good spots along the East 4th strip downtown.

Might be the most overrated place in Cleveland.

@MookieMonstah If your around the Cleveland area and make a little day trip out of going to the football HOF in Canton (45min drive), stop at Whiteys Booze and Burgers in Richfield on your way back for dinner. Its inbetween Canton and Cleveland and one of the best local spots for great food/games/drinks. My favorite burger in the Cleveland area.

If your downtown go to E. 4th street if you looking for things to do. A bunch of great food options. Check out Corner Alley on E. 4th if you want to grab a bite to eat and do some bowling in the evening. Cool spot. The Casino is a short walk from there as well and its sort of centralized to everything in downtown.

Depending on your schedule, go to a Indians game if they play at home but before stop at Paninis to 'pregame' which is close to the stadium. Good pizza, beer and patio before going in to the Indians game or after.

Next option is the Rock and Roll HOF while is on the other side of the city by the lake next to the Browns stadium. Good thing to do for a few hours to say you have been there. Its a little bit far from everything else and sort of isolated down by the lake but you could also hit the Great Lakes Science Center which is right next to the Rock HOF while your down there too.

Downtown if you like Mexican go to Barrio (build your own tacos), for BBQ go to Mabels and for Sushi to Ginko.

I’d go with Great Lakes as the most overrated.

Beer is mediocre as hell imo, save Christmas Crack.

That I can agree with. Never thought their beer tasted good, although I'm not much of a beer drinker, anyway.

Barrio is okay, but some people act like it's amazing. Their tacos are decent, but their margaritas suck.

Yummy but Great Lakes fell off 4 years ago when the master brewer left and went to Thirsty Dog. Which is why 12 dogs is wayyy better than Xmas Ale

Makes sense. Haven’t been in a while.

Thanks man! Definitely hitting both HOFs tomorrow. We’re at the Indians game right now, had to catch the Thome retirement ceremony. This is an awesome stadium! Love it so far, really enjoying the city so far. It’s beautiful, definitely not how IT described it ???

Since you’re a Boston fan I highly recommend the area around 69th and Quincy ?

Actually if you’re downtown I do highly suggest XO Steakhouse. Great steaks beer and wine selections and harder stuff. Like others suggested east 4th has a number of good restaurants to choose from.

If you’re in to science definitely go to the Great Lakes Science Center.

Art?  Art museum is awesome. The theater district is world renowned.  Cleveland Orchestra is world renowned.

Nature?  There are a number of outstanding parks in the area. Look up Cleveland parks and see which you’d prefer. The lake is beautiful for sunsets.

And etc
