MOSteelers56
Other Steelers fans won't agree with me, but this is well deserved. Vince is a solid ILB and he seems to be improving every year.

SteelKing728
Does this move say anything on the Ryan Shazier situation?

43M
Its only $5m a year, which isnt too bad for him, but he is merely an average starter and was exploited badly after Shazier went down last year. He is solid for what he is, but as I said, without Shazier, he looks much worse. Not necessarily because he is bad, but because Shazier was fast enough to make up ground that Williams couldnt...and we didnt really replace that speed....not that thats easy to do, but Shazier going down hurt BOTH ILB positions. dtait93
How is Shazier doing anyways? Is there really a realistic shot of him playing again? I saw him walking to announce the Steelers draft pick but haven’t heard an update since.

tom cody
Good for Williams. Also really to bad on Shazier, such a great talent to go down with that injury, as others have said he'll never play again.

I'd be holding my breath every time he made contact.
