SimsZilla
Just letting everyone know. I am NOT playing a defense this week on purpose. Rather not risk them getting (-) when I’m up

Tanking -- eliminating the risk of winning when you don't want to. This--eliminating the risk of losing because you don't want to
SimsZilla
How is this different than tanking? Well for one I’m trying to win, not trying to lose? Tanking is for better players in a draft and lower seed, I’m literally doing th opposite of that. If it’s gonna be that big of a deal I’ll play a damn defense but literally makes no sense Edited September 17, 2018 by SimsZilla

Having to deal with this is not fun. On the flip side of the risk, not staring your D lost potential Pt's that could determine a playoff berth? All I ask is for everyone to play hard & have fun. All teams are expected to play a full roster (sportsmanship). The only exception I can think (being a dynasty league) is, If a team is riddled with Injured players and would need to drop a decent future player to pick up a scrub player that would hurt his team long term. SimsZilla
I have fun and play hard. I’m one of the most active owners in this league. I understand the point of fielding an entire roster, but i will agree to disagree on everything else. And that’s all I will say on the matter. but anyways, hope fournette is back this week, rough having two rbs only

Riding this puppy until the wheels come off!!! I'm happy just to be 1-1. If I can stay around .500 that would be a big improvement for my team. The lack of a DEF being tanking is debatable. I get upset when someone has a player that's on IR in their lineup, but I do understand the reason for not dropping someone and picking up a defense. Our rosters do need to be a bit bigger for this to be a real dynasty league - in reality it's more of a big keeper league. I feel like chiming in here too. I can see both sides of the debate, however its not like he planned on hiding not playing a D this week. By coming to the forum and announcing his decision to sit a D I think he made the smart choice. I don't like the choice and I feel that if you have an open roster spot that can be filled but chose not the fill it then tanking can be considered, however I don't think his intent was to deceive anyone.
