Who'd have thought. 0 first downs until this drive. Reich has had a great season, but that was a lesson in what not to do - they got away from their game, which is power run based. And where they match up better. Instead, on the 2nd drive, they went 3-and-out with all passes, and then 3rd and 1 next drive, they went empty backfield. They can definitely succeed with a pass game, but that was a major panic move. It's crazy what happens in Arrowhead sometimes. Now, down 17, the KC pass rush is pinning their ears back. Meanwhile, the IND D has really adjusted well, and stood tall this 2H. Just that playing from behind, that's how the KC D plays at its best, it masks their run D weaknesses and pass coverage soft spots by getting the heat on the QB in obvious passing situations. Man.
