He may not have designed that playbook, but he was damn sure the one running it. It looked very much like Matt Nagy was calling plays live on the sideline. I hope he’s still the play caller by the time we play them. His time in CHI certainly showed it was Reid who was the creative genius behind their KC success the first time around.
The Helicopter
Companies like Wal-Mart detest me...spray painting a yaght won't garner any change, not shopping at Wal-Mart could, but poor people can't easily get out from under their situation by saving to purchase better products. I still got a chuckle out of it... https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/08/europe/yacht-vandalize-activists-spain-walmart-climate-intl/index.html
Dbrog24
Don't normally watch college ball but I got sucked into the Buffs game. Sanders is fun to watch when he has time to throw. It's also nice seeing receivers actually catch balls haha. Then again it's cause they are wide open. The difference is....noticeable when compared to the Pros
broncosfan07
I like Norvell but think CSU should’ve made an offer to Prime before they hired Norvell. He would’ve certainly left CSU after a year or 2 but man that program and AD is just screwed. My Mother-in-law’s husband was the SID at CSU for years and Asst AD until he retired, he has little hope for the program which even though I hate CSU it is better that they have a good program and there’s no reason they shouldn’t be the top program in the MWC. I think Prime could’ve brought that program much needed attention and money and would’ve been worth taking a chance on before anyone else did. Fun as she might be to look at, she’s a detestable human being. First, she plays the sex (gender) card in trying to get ESPN to give her “Stephan A Smith money.” Now, horrendous as Stephan A Smith and his brand of garbage “entertainment” may be, I do see he brings a personal brand value to ESPN. She’s doesn’t sniff that. Not as an entertainer and certainly not as a journalist. Next, she sandbags Rachel Nicols, a real sports journalist, to get her ousted from ESPN and subsequently take her spot on some NBA talk show that probably spent more time discussing the soap opera drama of the NBA than actual basketball. Taylor then, after signing a non disclosure settlement, departs ESPN for NBC, who gives her a plum assignment; this is the same network that employs the likes of Mike Florio and Cris Collinsworth. I have more respect, not much, but more, for Erin Andrews at this point. And that is saying something.

I liked Big O and I liked Nate Jackson. I’m glad seeing DMac and Chad Brown gone but Jackson and Franklin were very good.
1234567
Sitting here watching Kyle coaching the undefeated 49ers with his dad watching proudly from the stands makes me so furious I can’t see straight. I will never forgive Joe Ellis for running that family out of Denver and blocking them from coming back.

Somehow Vance coming back and being just as incompetent in another role has made it a little bit worse all these years later.

I hate thinking about this but every time we watch the Niners or the Bills, the wife feels the need to remind me we could have hired Kyle in 2017 and drafted Josh Allen in 2018. For the success they had as the leadership - getting out of the McDisaster, drafting Von (along with Wolfe, Marshall, Trevathan, Hillman, Oz, Sly, Paradis, Ray) and signing CHJ, Shaq (as UDFAs) and Peyton, Ware, Ward, Talib and Sanders and hiring Kubes to ultimately win SB50 - that pair of mistakes in back to back years is a stain on the Elway and Ellis leadership, one for which we’re still paying a price. I (sort of) understand the thinking in going for the “safe” pick in Chubb over another roll-of-the-dice QB in Allen, but Vance over Kyle is unfathomable. My 4 year old could have made the right hire there.
Broncofan
At least Hackett’s as honest as before even when it shows how overmatched he is as an OC. To be fair facing SF D (PIT) & DAL D (NYJ) there’s context for 1 of 2 games and both QB’s are part of the problem. But Hackett without A-Rod as we all saw is just lost. Matt Canada is just outright bad. It’s crazy how much of a recycle league we are (I’d point out VJ is the same version for D).
1234567
Not sure there are two people alive at the moment more cringy than Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. They're perfect for each other. Edited September 25 by 1234567

They're perfect for each other. I'm no Swift fan, but I respect her for taking a stand on musician's rights vs. the labels (F the labels). That's one very redeeming feature in her corner. And she is old-school in doing actual concerts (3 hours in pouring rain was a crazy thing you don't see any performers do nowadays, and not cancelling for weather/etc.). I'm not a fan of her music, and she needs the spotlight too much, but she has some redeeming qualities. Which is a rare thing to say about a lot of celebrities these days. Her taste in men (and her need to be in the spotlight), though, is a big Achilles (and the need to share it in her music, while popular, only exacerbates this problem). As evidenced by her latest choice - Kelce and Swift....lulz. No doubt he'll be the focus of her next album (both before and after the inevitable breakup lol).
