The Indianapolis Star reports second-year pro Antonio Morrison has been a "fixture" with the Colts' first-team defense in training camp.
The No. 125 overall pick of last year's draft, Morrison made four rookie starts, including Weeks 16 and 17. On the whole, he had a rough year, playing down to his disastrous 5.1 40-yard dash while displaying little instinct. The Colts need Morrison to be a two-down thumper.

So yeah, Burks will be out a while

Not necessarily, Morrison is a Ryan replacement. He's the antithesis of a guy like Burks.

Smart move to get rid of a guy you were going to cut anyways to get a player at a very weak position. 1 Point for Gute.

Probably being shipped out due to scheme change from 3-4 to 4-3 Tampa scheme. He doesn’t fit the latter. He’s not an EDGE and he’s not the best in coverage. We’re looking at another thumper in the middle.

He’s got the ability to cover sideline to sideline, but appears to be slow in decision making and thinking too much at times. He might benefit from a scheme that allows him to just go play football.

Seems like he was considered on the roster bubble over in IND. Consensus seemed to be that he can't cover and is slow and indecisive in the run game. Aggressive hitter, but often fails to finish tackles or is penalized for roughness. Still, Pipkins was probably going to be cut, so it's nice to get something for him.

I think this trade benefits the Packer moreso then the Colts. Pipkins right now is only coming over because of injuries in an already undertalented CB group. If certain players recover in time he might not make the team. Morrison had shown flashes but doesn’t have the speed the Colts want in their defense
