Davis' signing comes after the team traded Jordan Matthews to the Buffalo Bills on Friday and signed Keevan Lucas on Saturday. Davis is an undrafted receiver out of James Madison University. In his senior year in 2016, Davis was named an FCS First Team All-American and Associated Press FCS Second Team All-American. In addition, he was named CAA Special Teams Player of the Year. Phire Posted August 14, 2017 Author Share Posted August 14, 2017 Davis, 5-9, 180, had rookie-camp tryouts with the Bears and Jets as a punt returner. Behind Darren Sproles, the Eagles might feel they could use some punt-return expertise; Donnel Pumphrey and Greg Ward both struggled with fielding the ball in last Thursday’s preseason opener.
