Behold Da Bearz!

Former Bears and Panthers cornerback Charles Tillman did some television work last year, but is now reportedly moving in a different direction. Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports via multiple sources that Tillman hopes to land a job with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is currently training to make that happen.

Bears quarterback Mike Glennon has not played well through three starts, raising the question of whether it’s time to replace him with rookie Mitch Trubisky. But inside the locker room, that’s not a question at all. That’s the word from Bears running back Jordan Howard, who said this morning on PFT Live that there hasn’t been any discussion on the team about whether anyone but Glennon will be under center.

Howard: "We don’t really worry about it too much. Mike, we know he’s the starter, and as long as coach says he’s the starter, we’re all the way behind him. So we don’t really think too much about it."

I would like to add that this was not a sustainable win for the Bears. If they play like this most weeks you are going to lose the game.

They needed

-2 Big Special Teams play

-To rush for over 200 yards

-Have the Steelers commit 2 turnovers to offset your own turnovers

-Got nothing from the QB position at all

That is not a recipe for winning football.

not too early to be thinking about the Bears game in two weeks. this quote is from one of their fans on the PITT win.

I wouldn't sleep on the Bears, especially not when they're at home. They just beat a solid Steelers team and almost beat the defending NFC Champions in Week 1.

I'd still sleep on the Bears, which is probably why they're dangerous...they're so boring to watch, they put their opponents to sleep.

They have talent on that team. Howard and Cohen are pretty sweet, the interior offensive line is strong, Goldman, Leonard Floyd and Ed Jackson are 3 young and upcoming players, one at each level of the defense.

They need another good draft and maybe some better coaches and they'll be good soon enough.

is that injury worse than Bridgewater's?

Yes, much worse.

Bridgewater dislocated his knee, but he didn’t suffer any arterial damage.

Oh geez. That's horrible. I hope its not worse case for him losing his leg.

Chicago has next to nothing at receiver/tight end now.
