Poor defending from Bayern on both goals.

Ribery pulled up with no one near him and was clutching his knee. Looks bad.

Sounds potentially really bad for Ribery.

What is happening at Bayern?

(They will still romp the title by April)

I don't think so... Dortmund look very strong and I think they have a good chance to challenge for the league this year with Bayern being a mess right now.

I am reading Tuchel is very close to sign with Bayern though.

Heynckes is a good choice for the caretaker role.  And as I said before, Nagelsmann is my ideal choice.  I like this.

Yup I don't see any that Nagelsmann doesn't wind up there in the summer. Heynckes should turn the ship around this season.

British papers are linking Klopp, but I don't think either Bayern or Klopp himself would make that move.

I could see it happen. His time at Liverpool hasn't exactly been a success. Not failure, but not as good as it could or perhaps should have been.

He must have had said some seriously bad things against Bayern though.

After the Hummels, Lewandowski and Gotze transfers particularly.

Yeah, I don't know much about those politics. However, he's the best German manager and Bayern want the best. Long shot for sure, but not out of the realms of possibility.

First game for Bayern under Jupp Heynckes is a resounding 5-0 win against Freiburg.  Looked more compact in midfield and it seemed like our front line were combining better.  Still has a ways to go to fix the mess.  Only negative from today is that Javi Martinez, who was playing back in midfield after 3+ years as a CB under Pep and Ancelotti, had to come off and was clutching his shoulder/collarbone.  Looked to be in real pain, but not sure how serious it is.
