Scalamania
Props on doing a 7 rounder this early but some of the draft slots have me scratching my head. 2 hours ago, D82 said: 27. Philadelphia Eagles: David Montgomery RB, Iowa State I don't think he's a first round pick but regardless I'm taking Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama over him all day. 2 hours ago, D82 said: 37. CWood21
3 hours ago, D82 said: The Indianapolis Colts send their 2019 1st Round Pick (16th Overall), their 2019 2nd Round Pick (33rd Overall), and a 2020 1st Round Pick to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for DE/OLB Khalil Mack. You believe that a team is going to trade TWO first round picks AND a second round pick for Khalil Mack? Mack is as good as any non-QB in the NFL, but I can't see any team paying that quite of outrageous price tag. And if a team is going to pay that price tag, it's going to come from a team whose closer to winning the Super Bowl than Indianapolis IMO. 3 hours ago, D82 said: 23. Green Bay Packers (via NO): Jaylon Ferguson EDGE, Louisiana Tech 24. Green Bay Packers: Chase Hansen S, Utah Not going to talk too much about the prospects, since I haven't really dug into them. Definitely seems like positions that could be in play. The Packers have Clay Matthews, whose a pending FA at the end of the year, and Nick Perry, who has a long injury history. EDGE certainly figures to be their biggest need next year. Depending on what happens with HHCD and the rest of their safeties, safety could be just as big a need. They've done a good job revamping their corners, but they could look to solidify their S position. OT could be a darkhorse position depending on what happens with Bryan Bulaga this year. At the very least, they're going to be grooming someone to eventually replace him.
Tetsujin
It would suck for Miami to miss out on all the elite DL guys in Round One. No need for a TE in Round Two for Miami. I'd pick DE Jackson, or DT Beckner.
JetsandI
First of all, what the hell did you do? 7 full rounds done prior to NCAA and NFL kickoffs? You're nuts. lol. Kudos to you. As for Jets' selections. DL going to Jets in 1st has to be stopped, already. I know Oliver is good but Bosa or Ferrell are not far off there. Jets would be much appreciated if they could get T that can play LT. Not sure about Prince yet. Rest of the picks look good even though Jets got two edges in late round. Jimmy Austin
Pretty terrible Bucs draft. If they pick top 5 (which I doubt). They go QB there or probably one of those D-linemen. I know Tampa needs a LT but there has to be someone better than Greg Little. As of right now. I'd like to see how Jordan Whitehead turns out before we are start mocking the Bucs a S. Also WR? The Bucs have Desean, Godwin, Justin Watson, Mike Evans, Humphries. Do not know where they would put another WR. Jason_Bengal_Fl
Tackle will be the Bengals top need, but IMO they also have a high need for guard, CB, and maybe TE.
MikeT14
I'm not sure why the Redskins are using a Top 7 pick on ANOTHER Alabama D-lineman. We have our front three set, and two quality backups behind them. Greedy, White, or Brown make more sense imo.
INbengalfan
Given the Bengals at key positions, I really see a similar draft to 2015. We have a lot of questions at OT after Glenn, still need at least one starting level RG, plus depth, and that's just the o-line. Throw in the need at MLB if Preston Brown fails to do enough to get an extensio, and the fact that literally all of our top 3 TEs will be free agents, that's where we will spend our higher round picks. Maybe a CB higher up as well, especially if they lose Dennard. Kudos for the effort. Edited September 1, 2018 by INbengalfan
Zantku
An ILB is the last thing the Titans need. We just drafted one in the first round, and we got him a partner in crime a year before. I can guarantee we will be getting a new receiver. As far as Centers go we got a backup thats coming after our starter. ? Good mock though other than the ILB. Los Angeles Rams (comp): Cameron Smith ILB, USC ILB is a possibility but Wade loves Corey Littleton and we drafted or signed a few UDFA this off season who looked good in camp so not sure this early we go with an ILB. On 8/29/2018 at 6:42 AM, D82 said: 100. Los Angeles Rams (comp): Jawaan Taylor T, Florida Can he play guard or does he profile better there? We just signed our RT to a big extension and this years 3rd round pick Joe Noteboom was exceptional in camp and preseason games. Both our starting guards are free agents though so a Guard makes much more sense. On 8/29/2018 at 6:42 AM, D82 said: 134. Los Angeles Rams: DeMarcus Christmas DT, Florida State It's very doubtful we bring back Suh next year so this position is a possiblity. Los Angeles Rams (comp): Olamide Zaccheaus WR, Virginia Our WR corp is very good and our returner is a Pro Bowler so not sure about a WR being taken but with a 7th round comp pick it's not like we're invested in the guy. Personally my positions of need for the Rams in no order would be Guard, Edge, backup QB and possibly a TE. Everett hasn't shown much yet and Higbee is a great blocker but hasn't been a huge factor in the passing game. Depending on how this current draft class works out we could add NT, ILB. CB is even a possibility since Talib is only signed through 2019, Peters needs to be extended and Shields is signed for just this year. AlNFL19
For the Patriots there really is no reason to invest a second round pick on a running back. We have most of the backfield, including 2018 first-rounder Sony Michel, under contract for several years. Also, I highly doubt Finley ends up as a trade-up candidate in the first, but we'll see what happens.
