vike daddy
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 1998 Minnesota Vikings team that went 15-1 and went to the NFC Championship Game, several players and coaches from that record-breaking squad will take part in in-game ceremonies, including a halftime program. https://www.vikings.com/news/5-vikings-49ers-storylines-to-follow?sf196934177=

Seems odd.
vike daddy
Shanahan: “Since the day we signed him [McKinnon], we’ve been game planning for Minnesota. So I’m not going to lie — it changes things pretty drastically. That was our first target in free agency, so once you do it, you have a plan on how to use him, especially going into Week One.” https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/09/06/kyle-shanahan-jerick-mckinnon-injury-changes-things-pretty-drastically/
vike daddy
Sitting out practice were cornerback Mackensie Alexander (ankle), hurt in the Aug. 18 preseason game against Jacksonville, and running back Roc Thomas (ankle), injured in last Thursday’s preseason finale at Tennessee. Listed as limited were cornerbacks Xavier Rhodes (hamstring) and Marcus Sherels (hamstring) center Pat Elflein (shoulder, ankle) and tackle Riley Reiff (foot). Listed as a full participant was wide receiver Stacy Coley, who missed much of training camp and the preseason with a groin strain. https://www.twincities.com/2018/09/05/vikings-oldest-player-andrew-sendejo-shrugs-off-any-possible-challenge-by-george-iloka-to-start/
