Deadpulse
New England has released strong safety Damarius Travis and offensive guard Luke Bowanko. Bowanko is dealing with a foot injury and received a settlement. The Patriots now have 79 players on their roster.

AlNFL19
DE Eric Lee and DT Vincent Valentine are gone. Valentine was SBNation's pick to be the Patriots' breakout player, while Lee was a late-season phenom off Buffalo's 2017 practice squad. Both should stick elsewhere I'd think. He is a one trick pony plagued with inconsistency. Valentine is a nice depth piece, but we have a bunch of that already inside. New England is expected to place tight end Ryan Izzo on injured reserve. The Patriots now have 74 players on their roster.

AlNFL19
It'll be interesting to see if anybody's punt return skills afford them a spot on the roster, like Riley McCarron, now that CB/PR Cyrus Jones is gone, or if somebody likes Patterson or Burkhead takes over the role. At his age and coming off an ACL tear, I wouldn't expect Edelman to be the primary punt returner.
