Defense hasnt been that bad Agreed. The lifeless O had already sucked the life out of Lambeau before Aaron went down. Think MM's program has run its course in Green Bay. It's quite possible, and if so what a shame we allowed McCarthy to coach this team the past five years. His offensive genius was a myth. He had better talent and an all-world QB. Looking at the glass 'half full', this could give Gute cover to get rid of McCarthy. The injury filled 2005 season is the motivation that allowed Thompson to get rid of Sherman. Hundley can run the offense and might win 2 more games than Kizer But this team is going nowhere without 12.
deltarich87
Looking forward to McCarthy's hafltime adjustments on offense. We may see Cobb in the backfield some more!

minnypackerfan
That was one pathetic half. Well, McCarthy wanted to take over the team and call the shots and he managed to do so this offseason with the help of a very weak person in Murphy. Welcome to McCarthy in charge. I'm sure by the end of this year he will throw someone else under the bus. Its what he is best at lately. Remember he will never let anyone forget that he is a "HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL HEAD COACH". Last year everyone blamed the loss of Rodgers and Thompson. And yes...those were good excuses...but they were not the only reasons we stunk last year. McCarthy's offense has not evolved over the years and he keeps going back to the same well over and over again.

I get Rodgers is everything. But maybe that’s why this team isn’t getting anywhere. They are one note. That is on McCarthy. He needs to learn how to manufacture offense regardless. No, but refusing to adjust and trying to force guys who aren't able to run it is a fireable offense.
