Potential rivalry names: Throne-room Throw-down, Battle for the Big Easy, Cajun Clash

I want you guys to help me pick one of these names for this new rivalry.

Do you guys know how to update the rosters and schedule to 2018/19 on 360?

Do I need Xbox Live?

You do, but I don't -think- you need Xbox Live Gold (the paid version) so make an account and see if you can download the rosters from the user "dericksun" be advised a couple of teams are sort of botched right now and incomplete namely Ok State and Duke. They basically took all the players from last year who graduated last year like Mason Rudolph, made them Freshman, and gave them the last name of "XXXXX" as placeholders. So they're busted having a 94 OVR freshman at QB named Mason XXXXX

You might also be able to get a free trial for 48 hours somehow? don't remember if there's still a way to do that, but once you have it your set.

Welcome one and all to the first annual Crawdad Classic!

The defense certainly learned their lesson. The only mistake was my fault where I clicked Punt Return on 4th down with 0:05 left in the second quarter and didn't realize they were going for it from their own 30 yard line because it was the last play of the half. They bombed it for a touchdown. Feels bad.

Offensive Line played pretty well this game. Defense held them pretty well on 3rd down.

My main gripe in this game was Mendoza. He took too many sacks, threw a couple picks in the redzone, and couldn't get us in the endzone on multiple occasions in the second half either having it picked off or settling for a field goal. All-in-all, we came away with a pretty solid win but we have areas we need to clean up.

Well the game decided that this matchup is an OFFICIAL rivalry game. Against Middle Tennessee State. Don't have any ideas for the name yet so the placeholder is the "Ray O'Connor Bowl"

Troy   Middle Tenn State
Record 3-1 @ Record 3-1
OVR OFF DEF   OVR OFF DEF
81 83 82   84 88 82

Who is Ray O'Connor? He's that Sophomore JUCO runningback recruit that decided to ditch me on signing day when I'd been leading for him all along in the recruitment process. Turns out I got a Freshman running back recruit that was an ATH who was just as good so it worked out for me, but I'm still bitter. Ray O'Connor would normally be MTSU's 3rd running back but one of their two that are co-starters, was injured, so Ray got some playtime, and oh... did it feel good.

Scoring Summary
  1st Q 2nd Q 3rd Q 4th Q Final
Troy 10 7 14 7 38
Middle Tenn State 7 7 0 0 14

Defense has really stepped up their game since the embarrassing performance they had at home against Rutgers. They've improved most at making key 3rd and 4th down stops. MTSU certainly would get their yards, but they'd usually come up short.

Team Stats
Stat Troy Middle Tenn State

That nice big fat goose egg for them on 4th down including a 3-play goal line stand. After the 2nd 4th down stop at the 25 yard line, Jamarius Henderson spun out of an arm tackle and was able to cut it outside and take it to the house, I think this may have been his first long run of the year? Not entirely sure. But two plays later on their next possession, I got the pick, they completely fell apart at this point late in the 3rd quarter. I did have uncharacteristically few first downs this game on the offensive side of the ball, but that's not to say the offense was ineffective. Mendoza while he didn't throw any picks this time thankfully is still taking sacks sometimes from just holding on to the ball for far too long, but he had a great performance still.

Pretty much said everything that was relevant above. But yeah, if you guys are down to name another rivalry I'm all ears.

Changed the format a little bit so you can see who I feel pretty secure with and who's more of a battle.

Swapped out the WR I had for JJ Jones, Jones is a bit faster, and LSU started going all in on the other guy, don't think I could beat them out for him in the long haul.
Unfortunately the visit timing for Christ Hunt might not pan out don't know if I'll be able to hang in the race even if I could beat them out in the long haul especially with an upgrade I'll be getting in a week or so to give up to 600 points per recruit.

Hope its cool, if I ask questions in here. Don't want to de-rail the thread.

OK so I started a dynasty with UAB, obviously we're pretty garbage. Started off 0-4, rebounded a bit to 4-6.

When it comes to recruits, are you just supposed to throw your points at the players you want? Being a small s***ty school I'm not getting a lot of love obviously.
Should I be using a different strategy other than throwing points and upgrading the recruitment part of the head coach?
