3rivers
the report of the cowboys offering the hawks a 2nd round pick for ET has me thinking maybe it's time to pull the trigger . Send a player (dupree) and RD2 to the hawks for ET and rework a deal for him. 1 safety spot fixed for 3+ years, done and move on. I hope this is why they are making capspace. Now that I think of it, this is what I want to happen more than anything other than trading Bell for Lawson. We would have a serious threat in the secondary with ET and of equal importance a shift in culture in the secondary and a leader that has recent SB title. This is what colbert should be doing, forget about bell.
Blitzburgh
What is with everyone trading Dupree in these “scenerios”. Dupree has almost no value other than to the Steelers at this point. Given we only have 3 OLB on the roster right now and Dupree’s lack of production it is so unrealistic.
VigilantZombie
Furthermore as much as I would love to have Thomas, its not going to happen.

Capologists have the details.
VigilantZombie
If Dupree shows legit improvement this year, i wont have an issue keeping him. If he doesnt we should move on from him, but as far as a trade, no one is gonna do that.
3rivers
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000967559/article/seahawks-seeking-two-2ndrounders-for-earl-thomas we know what the seahawks want now anyways. If we were to trade Bell, then this could makes sense. No cap space right now to have Bell and ET on the team. This really is a missed opportunity but we just have to wait it out. One of the best safeties in the game and we can't get in on a trade because we tagged a player that isn't here and we are asking too much to trade him. Good one colbert
Chieferific
I guess Bell and ET are roommates.
warfelg
That article is a joke. “They would do it but they haven’t talked.” Stupid.

Maybe we should trade Keion Adams instead.....but Id want 3 or 4 first round picks on top of Earl Thomas to pull that trigger.
