St Vince Posted September 9, 2018 Share Posted September 9, 2018 The main problem i had with Thompson was that he thought the team should be bulit entirely through the draft. When he first came to GB he said he would only use FA to fix draft mistakes. That's the problem. Thompson had some terrible draft classes. But to be fair he also had some bad luck with Injuries. He lost 4 pro bowl caliber players to career ending injuries. Murphy WR spinal. Collins FS neck. Finley TE neck. Shields CB concussion. I believe you should use every talent stream to bring in players especially when you pick at the bottom of every round. You also skip the TB game where we put up only 7 points as well. Against PIT the offense had 6 penalties too (10 total in the game), the other two had 8 and 4 total. No one is saying they would be throwing up illegal formations or false starts, we are repeatedly saying the offense needs reps to get better, not to prevent complete incompetence.
