^^^ From Reddit

Yes, you read that correctly: 9 passing TDs in 7 games. That’s really bad.

Oh, and take a gander as to how many passes Quincy completed beyond 10 yards against Atlanta. It’s embarrassing.

This is why I can’t understand why people keep supporting the guy. It’s obvious that he can’t play.

Because bulk numbers are far less important than efficiency numbers. Which has been proven time and time again. Clinging to prehistoric metrics is ridiculous.

PS: He has been averaging 240 yards a game with cooper. Not that it matters.

There’s nothing efficient about the cowboys passing game

We are middle of the pack in points per drive and top-10 in interceptions per drive. The raw totals for things like yardage look bad because we are bottom 5 in total drives.

We are not some well-oiled, super efficient offense. Obviously. But certainly the efficiency numbers have been far more indicative of our success (and all teams across the NFL) than the raw bulk numbers. Which is why discussing Dak's passing yardage per game is pretty useless.

Is there room for improvement? Sure. Does he make some bad throws? Yep. Is he the answer moving forward? Maybe. Maybe not.  We can't keep ignoring the wins though. Guys that can't play, can't keep helping their team win.

Our passing game is usually the reason why we lose. Even when we win it's what keeps it close. Our defense has been phenomenal 2018. 2016 was all Zeke. 2017 was some Zeke. Our inability to throw the football has been the source of most of our losses since week 2, 2015. Zeke has been the source of most of our wins since 2016. Our defense + Zeke has been the source of most of our wins this year.

Dak and our passing game has been our biggest problem this year. Even the FO admits it by trading a first for a WR mid-season. Just because we sometimes win with a stacked roster in spite of our passing game doesn't mean Dak keeps helping us win.
