sgtcheezwiz
Adams needs to hang on to the goddamn ball. Sure the refs completely screwed us all game long but then our guys need to make the plays that are there. Terrible

It was almost identical to the Vikings roughing. Pulled his leg back and drove instead of rolling away.

You can't wrap up QBs now? That's what happens when you wrap someone up who is a stationary target. Can't hit them below the waist. Can't hit them in the head or neck area. Can't wrap up. So on a 6'3 220 pound man, you have a target window of 2 feet and can only hit him with your shoulder. ABSOLUTELY ******* RIDICULOUS.

squire12
Here is part of the roughing the passer rule Quote A rushing defender is prohibited from committing such intimidating and punishing acts as "stuffing" a passer into the ground or unnecessarily wrestling or driving him down after the passer has thrown the ball, even if the rusher makes his initial contact with the passer within the one-step limitation provided for in (a) above. When tackling a passer who is in a defenseless posture (e.g., during or just after throwing a pass), a defensive player must not unnecessarily or violently throw him down or land on top of him with all or most of the defender's weight. Instead, the defensive player must strive to wrap up the passer with the defensive player's arms and not land on the passer with all or most of his body weight. I bolded the part that is being emphasized after the Rodgers vs Barr injury last season.
