What I do know is that Cam Robinson will not be playing. Out for season with torn ACL. We will definitely miss him in the run game. He has shown to be a liability in pass protection so far. Sucks but injuries are apart of the game. We were fortunate to be extremely healthy last season. Josh Wells played really well in his absence yesterday. Luckily for us, we have Norwell at LG now instead of Omameh. Wells will have a nice test next week against your front.
ttitansfan4life
Eh never thought Robinson was that good coming out. Don’t think it’s a huge loss for them.
-Hope-
i feel good about our front 7's chances to make life more difficult for bortles than it was against the patriots. it'll be on our secondary, especially malcolm butler, to start playing up to the damn hype. TitanSS
Trubisky sucks.

At least when I've been paying attention. Someone mentioned Jake Locker and that is the vibe I'm starting to get from him. Locker with a bit more accurate arm. He is so lucky to have this defense bailing him out.
deeluxx3
Locker is a great Trubisky comparison. They were/are both amazing athletes trying to play quarterback

If Wells plays well at LT then need to just go ahead and move Robinson inside. I've said it since he was a prospect for the draft, the guy has no business playing LT from a pass pro standpoint in the NFL. Either way Jacksonville needs to find a different LT and put Robinson at RG. If you can just find an average LT/pass blocker then you've got yourself one hell of an o-line cause Robinson will dominate at guard. Cann (our RG) is a FA after the season but it seems like he has taken the next step. He use to be the weak link along the O-Line. If they don’t re-sign Cann, I wouldn’t mind moving Cam over. I feel like they like him at LT though. Cam drops his head way to much in pass protection. Blake’s mobility has saved the O-Line many of sacks. Wouldnt surprise me if Landry whips Wells on Sunday. We are solid in the interior, so as long as Blake has room to step up, we will be ok. Easier said than done though with Casey in the middle. Easier said than done though with Casey in the middle. Even if Cann has improved I still think I'd personally replace him with Robinson inside. I think Robinson has All-Pro/best interior OL potential at guard. His power is absolutely insane, some of the best we've seen from an OL prospect in recent years, and moving to guard largely eliminates the weakness he has in pass pro of having maybe the worst kick step among starting OTs in football(or up there at least), and some pretty mediocre recovery ability to go along with it. A torn ACL hopefully doesn't hurt his power too much. I think the one positive to him having that is the fact that he had it this early in the season, meaning he's gonna get pretty much an entire year to recover before having to play again, and obviously ACL repairs have gotten much better in recent years. There's a couple decent options in FA next year for LT. Ty Nsekhe in Washington has been maybe the best backup OT in football the last couple years and shouldn't break the bank, would be a solid option though he is gonna be 33 in October/will be 34 midseason next year so that might be a slight concern. Donovan Smith is an interesting option too. Not sure how well the Bucs like him as he isn't exactly a world beater but he's a average to decent LT in this league. That being said he's a average to decent LT that has started every game for Tampa so if they don't resign him the chances of him getting a pretty expensive deal in FA are high, and I'm not sure the Jags would be willing to pay that much for him. Looking at the draft Adams out of Washington looks really good but has went from an ACL tear to now back issues which is very troubling for an OLineman. Risner out of KState is supposed to be good(haven't watched him any myself) and would likely be available for around where the Jags are likely to pick late in the first. There's Williams out of Bama too but it's seeming as if he's gonna be a top 10/top 15 type of pick. There's nothing better to watch in football than dominant offensive line play, and I think the Jags could be a decent LT away from having that with the move of Robinson inside. TitanLegend
I wonder if Wilson may want out of Seattle soon. He kinda got in to it with Schottenheimer and Carroll on the sideline last night(well as much as a guy like Wilson will ever get in to it with someone) after they called a timeout while he was trying to audible out of a play(and had been driving pretty well while audibling). He's only signed through next season, and Carroll and Schneider have turned that team in to a joke. As someone who is getting so sick of Marcus getting hurt every week he's on the field, I'd probably trade a lot to get Russell Wilson on this team. Going from the Seahawks to one of the best 3 or 4 pass blocking o-lines over the past 3 seasons? Yeaaaa buddy. I know the chances of us ever landing him are probably less than 0.1%, but man would it be nice.

We'd instantly be one of the top teams in the AFC with him.
TitanSS
Nice to think about, but I bet they get rid of Carroll first.
KingTitan
Point was made today. Even a good QB will get paid. It's so hard to find a QB. Teams hold on to them. Marcus is here unless he can't get over the injury. They will just invest more in the backup spot. Maybe draft one higher. Then if that guy is better then Marcus would be gone or Jimmy G the drafted guy.
