Arthur Penske
not surprised Davis went to IR. Kind of surprised it was a Cb who replaced him and not edge depth.

Herb Waters story, college WR converted to CB last year, spent all year on ATLs PS, made the roster this year but was waived. 6'2, sub 6.8 3 cone, 38 inch vert so there are tools there. MacReady
No pass rush help is coming. We gotta accept that at this point.

Lodestar
Glad we spent all that time talking about Davis's roster spot. Gotta wonder if an injury settlement is coming. Sad to see the Evans era end in Green Bay... had a lot of hope for him as an UDFA. Never panned out.
cannondale
Saw a tweet dated Sept. 2017 indicating the switch to CB. Not much time under his belt

I'd not read that anywhere yet. He certainly looks more like a WR than a CB.

Lodestar
Curious to see how long Burton sticks. Interesting to bring such a raw developmental guy onto the 53. Either they want to ensure they can get a good look at him and/or they think he can contribute on ST right away.

GB got a couple years of cheap ( and good) ST play out of Evans, that's not a bad return for a guy who didn't have a draft-able grade. He earned about $ 1 million so far, that's a good start on life even if he doesn't latch on anywhere else. Win-Win at the bottom of an NFL roster

I just had higher hopes for him as a defender. Would think the Packers agree, otherwise they would have kept him for his ST abilities.
