Because they think they still have some shot at winning something. Yeah Bo Wulf said the same thing. They need to stop doing that. Vinny Curry isn't the caliber of player you do things like this for. They should be looking towards the future and they are not. They are cutting pieces that could be long term players for a guy on his last leg in a year where they are 1-3-1 with a really tough schedule ahead of them. If they do not sell and trade some older guys at the deadline then they are blatantly damaging the future of this organization. If they make the playoffs this year it should be considered a failure because they will drastically hurt their draft pick and hurt their future in the process. Some will say get in the playoffs and anything can happen...that does not apply to this division. No team in this division has a chance.
