I don't think Ramsey even fixes our defensive woes, as long as our DL cannot get to the QB, Schwartz D will struggle mightily... but Ramsey is simply an elite player, I would love to acquire and lock up that kind of talent whenever the opportunity presents itself. I think the only thing stopping us is the money. He will become the highest paid CB in the league, and we're already pretty poor. No doubt Howie can make it work, just a matter of whether he'd want to have so much cap allocated to so few players.

CB and RB seem like positions where Howie is cool with cheap rentals. 

I was cool with passing on Clowney at first. Definitely should've got that deal done. We desperately need another pass rusher in the rotation.

Jalen allows you to bring more pressure as he doesn't not need over the top help against elite WR's.

yeah..its a push pull thing

We need at least one or two more impact players on D...then the rest of it kinda falls in place.
An elite corner can change a lot. But Jim would have to be willing to make changes.

Except you guys forget that Jim Schwartz doesn't blitz. You could have Deion Sanders and Darelle Revis back there with Patrick Peterson in the slot and this man would rush 4.

We haven’t been getting those early leads which propelled us to a SB two years ago and doomed us last year. We get those leads and the DL can get up field without focusing on the run and Jim can drop 7. Now, he’s got to be a little more judicious with the blitz considering we don’t score until the 2nd half most games. I feel it’s just going to get tougher with these injuries. He has to adjust somewhat. Or just get Ramsey. lol

Maybe it's just me but I find it hard to believe that there are people out there that think Mayfield is/will be better then Wentz.

I think we have to trade for Ramsey....The DL isn't going to get any better. We are relying on vets and guys coming back from injury. We are in win now mode. Those veteran DL and guys coming back from injury will have 14+ more games on their body.

If he shows out tonight, I fully expect a trade KC will deal they're going to need a CB vs NE the playoffs.

When you look at the pressures stats though, there was a ton of the Eagles DL on top of the list these first two weeks. We are generating pressure, but we aren’t getting the coverage in the back...or from the LB position either.

i think if they added Jalen and Kamu comes back, all the sudden that extra second, half second they get you turns pressures into sacks, forced fumbles, etc

its not a automatic fix, but it sure would be nice in games where we go against a good wideout to shut them down. We do that against Cooper and Dallas you take away a lot from them.
