SmittyBacall
It's still early but I truly believe Mixon establishes himself as one of the leagues best backs by the end of the year. What's the general consensus/opinion on Joe Mixon? What backs would you be taking over him? What areas does he need to improve or what accomplishments does he need to achieve to gain recognition versus his peers? Does he or could he belong on that top tier of runningbacks? I think he's on Tier 1 with: Todd Gurley Le'veon Bell Saquon Barkley David Johnson Alvin Kamara Joe Mixon Leonard Fournette Ezekiel Elliot Thoughts? Danger
I mean he has a chance to get there I suppose. But I wouldn't put him there yet. He and Dalvin Cook both still need to prove themselves in that regard. As does Barkley.
dtait93
He'll get there imo. Just needs to prove it first

At this point I'd take Gurley, Bell, Barkley, Johnson, Kamara, Fournette, Elliott, Hunt, Ingram, McCaffrey, Howard, Cook, Freeman over Mixon. Nnivolcm
Tier 1 dirtbag for sure. Don't think he's earned tier 1 RB yet.
tom cody
He's good but I don't think I'd call him a Tier 1 RB just yet.
Rockice_8
When did Fournette become a tier 1 RB. Dude has been largely underwhelming IMO. He is nowhere near the Kamara, Johnson, Bell, and Gurley's of the league. I think Mixon has the skill set to be in that tier but for now he remains below those guys. Hunter2_1
So, "Tier 2", for me and most others so far.
