I have a hard time seeing it actually happen given the history, but obviously the talent/money/need are all in place.

And, I still can't see a guy playing for his next paycheck in this offense right now. 

For a low pick, I'd game though.

I would kick the tires.  There's considerable risk, but the price is right, the talent is there, and a big need would be addressed.

There's a reason why some teams are annual contenders.  One can argue that you have to take risks to be great.  Who would you rather take a flyer on Gordon or Butler?  I'd take Gordon for the price the Pats paid.  A player with his upside would have filled a huge void for us.  We will never know.

I'd rather not have Gordon on this team. We already have Gregory and Irving who are potential issues. And we don't have the same locker room structure for it to work anyway. Let's not forget, Gordon is from Texas. He might come here and have another issue. 

I'm glad the team chose not to deal with another one of these guys.

Well Billicheck chose to deal with him. Obviously he thinks he can take a chance on controlling him. We need some of that kind of management here and we wouldn't have to worry about Gregory and Irving and such to be successful.
