That Rams game for us is going to be ugly.  Wade Phillips made a 6-0 team look like an 0-6 team and made us go on a massive losing streak the last time we played him.

Could be,  but Wade had a historically good defense with Von Miller and Ware off the edge. Wasn't that also the year every WR we had was slow/hurt? Perhaps with a dash of Barclay?

Yeah, our offense wasn't great, but it also had a considerably better running game and it was the Broncos who exposed our offense as being crap.  Rams with Donald and everybody else could do it again.

Our offense isn't crap this year though - this k the running game is better now with Jones, Monty, and and Williams than with a fat Eddy Lacy too. Add in Jimmy Graham, the offense is much better this year imo

Granted, but that Rams defense is way more talented than that Broncos defense was.  I was hoping all the hype would get to their head, but it really hasn't.  Phillips might be the only person on the planet capable of coaching all that talent and personality.  Donald, Brockers, Suh, Johnson, Joyner, Peters, Talib, Robey-Coleman and Shields... The only thing the Rams are lacking is linebackers.  If they'd gotten Mack...

Also, really happy to see Shields getting an interception for them.  Wish we'd have re-signed him if he was going to play anyway.  Shields instead of House would be so nice yesterday and going forward.

I'd like to think the GBPs felt they'd be jeopardizing Shields health - moreso than they didnt want to invest in what they considered to be damaged goods.

Oh, that's definitely what it was.  I think at least one of Collins/Finley were cleared by somebody to play again, but we didn't want them to risk it, so we didn't let them play.  Same is true for Shields obviously.

Fair enough, Rams should certainly have the number 1 defense this year. I think we can move the ball on these top defenses this year though, really feel like Graham opens up so much for other players and that Adams and Allison are maturing at the right time.

I'd love to see the JA vs Cooks matchup

BUF @ home - then DET on the road - then San Fran @ home.
Week 8 is setting up to be interesting......
@ the LAR :o

Buffalo is truly dreadful.   Did you guys hear about one of their corners quit at half time?  Evidently he went into the locker room at the half, took a shower, got dressed in street clothes and left!!!

Has anyone watched Washington this year?  Going off box scores, they look great in week 1 and then terrible in week 2.  And their week 1 win was against the Cardinals....whom couldn't even get past mid-field yesterday against the Rams.  Literally didn't cross mid-field until garbage time.

They got beat pretty good at their home opener yesterday against the Colts.  (21-9?)

If we can do damage to a good Vikings D, think we can handle them. Tho Suh,Donald, and brockers vs our guards is scary
