Wells allowed two more than than that Titans number by himself and he didn't even play a full game.

Yea thats not good lol. Sadly though the OT FA market is terrible. Our DL vs their OL is going to be a tough matchup. We've been manhandled there before by an obviously good group. Cant let that happen. If Henry breaks the 1st level we dont want to see what happened

While it's a good number regardless and Lewan/Pamphile/Kelly shut the Dolphins sold edge rushers down, the Texans game can kinda be thrown to the side. Out of the 20 pass attempts by Gabbert, all but like three or four were out of his hand within like 2.5 seconds. LaFleur wasn't going to ask our #4 and #5 offensive tackles to block JJ Watt, Whitney Mercilus and co. Would have been suicide. Greg Cosell on his weekly radio appearance in Nashville said the vast majority of the Titans passes were predetermined reads/throws, meaning Gabbert didn't even have to spend time reading the defense at all. Knew where he was going with the ball the second he snapped it.

So it was more LaFleur just gameplanning our offense out of pressure than the tackles holding up vs Houston. We're likely going to be starting Pamphile or Marz at RT on Sunday as Kelly is out and I doubt Conklin plays til next week, and while having Lewan buys some more time, we'll still have to be conscious of pressure off the right side. Pamphile was decent at LT vs Miami but dealing with Campbell or Ngakoue is obviously different than Quinn, and playing RT rather than LT is also a different ball game, but versatility is supposed to be his strength, so we'll see.
