Couple guys hovering near record setting paces. Where the following stats stand through 8 games, all time

Mahomes' 26 pass TDs- tied for 3rd, only Brady in 2007 with 30 (went on to throw 50) and Peyton in 2013 with 29 (went on to throw 55) had more.

Gurley's 15 TDs- tied for 2nd, only trails Jim Brown in 1958 who had 17

Thielen's 74 receptions- most ever, 4 more than Julio had in 2015

1. Mahomes isn't getting 56TDs or even  50TDs but 45-47TDs is possible.

2. Gurley could get 32 Total TDs which would break LT's record but I'm not sure he can get 29 rushing TDs which would break LTs Rushing TDs record

3. This one is the most likely to be broken as the Vikings are force feeding Adam to brink of exhaustion. I can't imagine teams will double him too many times as that leaves their other 2 options open.

How close was Julio to the record in 2015?

Have the Pats clinched their crappy division yet?  That usually happens around week 8 or so.

They probably will once they win on MNF and beat Rodgers and the Pack on SNF next week. I can't believe the 3-0 Miami Dolphins have fallen so far since their awesome start.

Colts OL has now gone 3 games w/out allowing a sack of Andrew Luck (with Andrew Luck playing in the game of course)

Colts established a new NFL record for passing TDs to multiple TEs in the same game 3/Mo Alie-Cox, Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle

Colts finally put together a good OL

has a team with the best TO differential in the NFL ever finish a season with a losing record or last in its div?

1971 Saints had a league leading +20 TO margin but finished 4-8-2, and last in the NFCW

Interestingly, in that same season, the Bengals had the 2nd best TO margin at +16, but finished even worse at 4-10, last in the AFCC.

Gritz Blitz Falcons and 1996 Bengals were .500 while leading league in TO margin as well.

We were talking about the 70s in the niners forum, specifically about turnovers because we had 18 through 7 weeks or something absurd like that, and it turns out teams turned the ball over a lot back then.

The 1978 49ers have the record with 63 turnovers.. we won a game where we turned it over 4 times because the other team turned it over 8 times.

63 turnovers in one season! Think about that. It's basically 4 per game for an entire season
