Joe Flacco holds the record for most games with 50+ pass attempts without making it to 300 yards.

I don't know what you're talking about, Joe Flacco is great!

And you are just going to conveniently leave off the 81 yards and TD that Tru had rushing that day bc it doesnt fit your narrative.

I already mentioned how a good portion of those plays would never have happened with average defensive play, but fine. Trubisky had 81 rushing yards. That doesn't change the fact that I don't think his performance was that good!!, not to mention not really close to Mahomes'. If you gave me the option between a QB to went 4:2 TD-INT with 350 yards or a guy who went 3:2 with 400 and 14 MORE PASSES (and 4 more rushes), I'm taking the former by a mile. And if you're going to bring up offensive personnel, don't. Trubisky missed plenty of throws without having them be the receivers' fault. He had a bad game against New England.

The 2 picks were arguably the wrs fault, but NE dropped the 2 INTs so I'd call that a wash.  The bottom line is that Trubisky had the Bears in position to tie the game on the last play, and that's after the STs gave up 2 TDs.  So no, I dont consider it a poor performance.  Overall I call it meh, but it's a growing performance.

And I call it a bad performance because of what I already said. It's an issue of perspective, but I also think that Trubisky isn't the only reason the Bears were in that game. Teams are 53 guys for a reason.

I think Chicago will probably win the North (or lose by a game or so), but I don't know if they'll make it so far in without having the lens of having them play well against playoff teams yet.

Kareem Jackson. I am NOT stunned. Dude has taken to S like a fish to water, he's a legitimate star at the position

Many Texans' fans wanted this move a few seasons ago, Jackson lacked the long speed for a CB since he was a rookie. To think - had they made this switch two seasons ago, there would be logical sense to re-sign AJ Bouye when he hit free agency, which would have been great for us.

It's kind of just because it's a bit of a weird stat. Basically it's just because he has 6 PDs and he's only played half the season. PDs obviously don't mean he's actually doing well in coverage. Could just mean he's being targeted a lot. Like he got beat multiple times against Seattle, but for this stat that game was a big win because he did get 2 PDs and an INT when he wasn't getting beat.

Imagine if the Bengals would just spend money in FA:

I think this shows, more than anything, that they get more value out of the later part of the draft. This, in no way, shows their ability to hit at the top of the draft. A guy like John Ross, for example, is included despite not living up to 9th pick overall. AJ Green is the only recent-ish first round pick that I can think of that is a legit star.
