yea, emmitt smith best rb ever. wes welker is an all time great wr too. oh wait, not many people think this do they. Almost like they realized volume had a massive effect on their production.

Wow...you’re on fire today. Emmitt Smith was among the greatest of all time. We aren’t saying that Michael Thomas is a GOAT...we’re saying that he’s an elite WR and has been the best WR thus far. Is that so hard to believe with a distractible Antonio Brown who has been shown up by JSS, OBJ or Julio who have a combine 1 TD, or Hopkins who has looked pretty darn similar as Fuller? The top guys have underachieved and Thomas has been a monster.

no one views emmitt as the greatest, at least no one taken seriously and most top 5, heck top 10 list, dont have them on there. Hes not the best WR thus far, hes averaging 10 yards a catch. Hes benefitted from huge volume and easier routes (note, not easy, just running routes more likely to be completed). As ive said over and over, its the exact reason why no one considered welker as a legit top 5, top 10 guy and same for landry. To be completley honest, im more impressed by Desean Jacksons stat line then thomas'.

You are comparing guys that played mostly from the slot, compared to a guy with ideal number 1 WR measurables that can play both on the outside and in the slot effectively in Michael Thomas. He has been dominating corner's on the outside and CB's/LB's/Safey's in the slot.

his air yards/target is 7.2. Doesnt matter where it comes from on the field man.

If you are going to make a comparison to other players playing different roles than yes it absolutely does matter. Anyway most importantly Michael Thomas have been a beast this year, and playing better than any other WR in the NFL through the first 3 weeks.

well right now, his role is to run short, underneath routes, kinda like a slot guy. as far as him being the best, you can keep telling yourself that, doesnt make it true. maybe his job has been easier than  any wrs in the nfl, that could make some sense but id have to dig a little deeper before i say for sure.

yea, why mess with stupid things like logic. short passes tend to be easier to complete than deeper passes? BS, thomas the best!

I never said anything about Thomas being the best.  But even if he was, there's no need to convince you of it.

They're easier to complete yes.

They aren't 95% catch rate easy to complete.
