TE Evan Engram sprains MCL- Week to Week

Could be a lot worse. Rhett Ellison can't do some of the things Engram can, but should still be a very suitable replacement for a few weeks. I'm more worried about depth. Two TE sets have been effective and Shurmur likes using them. After Ellison, we have Scott Simonson and that is it. We may need to make some roster adjustments.

I can't blame a player for trying too hard, but some of these guys need to learn when to go out of bounds and avoid a shot.  Engram was near the sideline and could easily have avoided a hit if he sacrificed two yards.  He was well past the first down marker.  It sucks losing suck a dynamic athlete at the tight end position.  Hopefully it's a mild sprain.  I remember someone (I think Chase Blackburn) was diagnosed with a sprained MCL and missed only a week or two.

Kareem Jackson and other Texans DBs were gunning for knees. I wasn't a fan of that. We are lucky we only ended up with one serious injury. Saquon got hurt as well.
