Rights changed hands. Hasbro owns it now so they wanted to do their own thing.

Doesnt matter who has it.  Saban always has to have his input, and he will never allow it to be taken in a direction which will make it appealing to a broader audience.

He has no power over it anymore. Hasbro said they will ask him for input but hopefully they just dont listen and do what they want.

2028 - animaltested finds the elixir of immortality

2029- Bob Iger, Kathleen Kennedy, Rian Johnson, JJ Abrams and all other executive's are hearby sentenced to exile, flown to an island in the pacific and abandoned there.

Congress issues the verdict to break apart Disney and for it to be sold off. And everyone lived happily ever after.

lol f all the Stephen King stories to adapt or re-adapt, I won’t for the life of me understand why they keep going back to Carrie.  That one is probably top ten in Kong’s entire works if you’re doing a most boring list.  Might be the most boring King story ever.

Especially when the remake was pretty much shot for shot save for a longer, grittier prom scene thanks to the advancements in CGI and budget.
