I don't know about worth it. My brother likes seeing movies in 3D so I'll see some with him but I'm pretty indifferent about them. The 3D glasses they provide are really big and always fit over my glasses just fine, I don't really notice that I'm wearing them. Godzilla was originally a metaphor for nuclear weapons and then morphed into a quasi-hero to protect the Earth itself along with other monsters.
