Week 4 GDT- Eagles @ Titans

Seeing Thielen (undrafted) and Diggs (5th) round thrive gives me hope that not all is lost behind Davis the GOAT.   Davis and Taylor can't take all the targets.  If Sharpe was ever going to shut me up... now's the time.  Sharpe, I want you to make me look like a joke for ever questioning you.

I also want to see Lewis and Henry out there together... not only in the backfield, but with Lewis motioning out or even just lining up in the slot...

I want to see the offense spread the defense out...

I get we were planning on going with 2 TEs as our base D... but with Walker out for the year, LaFleur will adjust... and I don't expect it to be overnight...

Other than Davis and Sharpe, all of our WRs seem to be 5'10 and under... so I want to see that college type offense at times... the Jags seem to be rolling that out with Bortles almost exclusively... just a bunch of short/intermediate passes underneath, allowing the quicker/shiftier players a chance to make some plays.  Pepper, pepper those quick passes, mix in a couple of deep attempts... then just let Henry loose against that spread out D.

Man... someone should hire me as their Madden OC... McVay ain't got nuthin' on me!

Also my prediction is that the Titans get their teeth punched in and Jags fans run rampant on the forum.

Titans 13

Jaguars 27

Eagles steamroll us back a decade, 38-13.

Keep that negativity rolling, worked last week maybe it'll work again this week. I expected to lose last week, honestly with the injuries I'm surprised the betting line wasn't Bills-esque.

What we've seen the last two weeks from the defense and the coaching, they'll at least be competitive. Sure, we may lose to the defending SB champs. At full health/strength there'd be no shame in that. But I wouldn't be surprised if we got a W either. Get after Wentz, contain Ajayi an we have a shot. Iggles have a tough run D but I have a feeling this will be a better showing for Henry with Conklin back.

After week 1 in Miami, not sure anyone wouldn't take 2-2 at the quarter mark. To go 3-1 with all they've gone through so far would be insane. I think they have a shot, hopefully they surprise us.

We had a rather large coaching advantage in both of our wins, don't think that's gonna be the case here. This Titans team over the last couple years has rarely ever been blown out so I don't expect that to happen, especially at home where we're 11-2 in our last 13 games, the two losses being 23-27 to LAR and 26-16 to OAK, but who knows.

I've got it at somewhere around Eagles 16 - Titans 14

I’ve been on a cruise since Monday and without phone/internet, so possible I missed this. But I feel like I need to post it.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000966398/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-4-rams-chiefs-rise-above-chaos

The Jags fell from second to fourth and moved to 2-1. We moved to 2-1 and beat the second (now fourth ranked) team.

Even better.

Again, Jags fall from second to fourth. We literally stayed the same. At 20th.

Yeah I posted in another thread about people calling it a "hiccup" for the Jags.

It doesn't fit the national media's narrative so they're just choosing to pretend the game didn't happen.

Yea I got a chuckle out of that myself .. I mean come on, I know we’re not talked about but for us to stay the same after beating there 2nd ranked team is just silly. I think 16 would have been fair for us , I’ve seen some posters giving us a higher spot  but it’s just not going to happen when the one team we lost to is 3-0 and isn’t a fan favorite themselves .

I wonder if we pull off another ugly, gritty win will the national media give us our props for beating (what many believe) two top 5 teams, or focus on what's wrong with the Eagles.

Of course, it'll probably be the latter.

Unfortunately until the Titans win handily against a team the media deems as good we probably won’t get much respect or notice.

Titans would have to dominate against Phi Dal or NE to atleast get people talking but would have to win the next game after it to show they are for real and not do what the Jags did beat NE then lose 9-6
