Mike McCarthy has to be one of the worst HC's to live off his QB's talent. GB should have at least a 2nd title with a talent that good and the talent their GM developed (that SEA choke job at the NFCG will live in infamy, no matter the outcome of the SB that would have at least removed the stain of his tenure). Having said that, Reid's preparation and player development is second to none. In-game management, on the other hand....not so great. On 2nd down there, they run 4 guys with all curl routes. germ-x Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 I hate some of these routes they’re running Sanders on tonight. He’s the best WR on the team and they’ve basically ran him as almost a decoy in some big situations tonight. For example the last play they had him take 2 steps and sprint horizontally toward the sideline well short of a 1st down. They had him do the same in the red zone at the end of the half.
