  1. 1. Should Hue have had us go for it on 4th down?

but Greg Williams was the primary reason we lost. We made no adjustments to stop the things that were killing us all game long.

Hue Jackson has nothing to do with this loss. Don't try to put this on Hue, morons.

Does the head coach not hold any sway in enforcing any necessary adjustments to be made when we are being killed all game long?

At what point during those 20 unanswered should Hue go and give his bonehad DC a nudge in the right direction?

A little good news.  42 points is the most the Browns have scored since Sept 2007 when Cleveland beat Cincinnati 51-45.

Anderson had 328 yards and 5 TD, Jamal Lewis had 216 yards and a TD, Braylon had 148 yards and 2 TDs

A little bad news. 45 points is the most the Browns have given up since Sept 2007 when Cleveland beat Cincinnati 51-45. The most the Browns have given up since the return was 58 to Cincinnati in 2004 in a 58-48 loss. The Browns have only given up 45 or more points on 3 occasions before yesterday since they returned to Cleveland.

Basically, our defense yesterday was bad.

I was at that game. Great times. Chad Johnson got pulled into the dawg pound and they poured about a dozen beers on him. Epic.

Yes, it's easy to say he should have gone for it in hindsight, but I was screaming to go for it at the time. It's not the typical scenario where the defense has held their offense in check throughout the game; our defense was literally escorting Carr and the Raiders to the end zone (not going to bring up the BS reffing).

Our defense was getting destroyed and we had a Chubb with a statline of 3 for 100+ yards and 2 TDs and you're telling me we don't even want to give him a shot to go for it? Even Hyde was getting us chunk yards on the ground. Instead we chicken out and throw our struggling defense try to win it for us on the road.

I have another question. Why was the flag on the defenseless njoku picked up? Everyone assumed it was because there was no helmet to helmet. That’s a totally different penalty. The guy was defenseless , had not established himself as a runner and was vulnerable to an injurious hit. Do I agree with the flag in general? No I think it makes football pretty lame. But FREAKIN HAVE SOME OBJECTIVITY. We would’ve been on their 40.

He had taken a couple steps and was face up with the defender.

I thought it was a good, clean hit.

you know if they are making songs about it - it is not a figment of our imagination that we got lubed up and jobbed all day long. I hope the Raiders now they were beaten, only to be saved by a bunch of buffoons in striped shirts with bad intent.

Shouldn’t have mattered. If the refs didn’t call one of the worst reffed games in the last decade the would have got it right and the game was over on kneel downs. My problem is why wasn’t Chubb ran more. For Christ sake he had over 100 yards on 3 carries with two touchdowns. **** if we wanted to go for it and really shock and awe them put Myles and FB and give him the ball. Lol

He was short. Ball was behind where his elbow touches down, FWIW

Bro u raiders fan are hilarious. Stop trying to validate your win. It’s over. Just walk quietly back to your forum and sit back while you pay an overrated coach 100 milli and your best player to play for your team in nearly two decades kills it in a bears uniform. You were handed that win on a black and white platter gtfo here with your bs.

Don't need to "validate our win". Browns fans trying to say THIS one instance was the reason they lost, it wasn't.

Your vaunted defense gave 8 points in under 2 mins. Then in OT, with good field position, your offense couldn't do anything with the ball. And the defense gave up another score.

I'll see myself out

No need, you’re not wrong.

We had multiple opportunities to win that gameand didn’t.  Nothing wrong with stating facts.

Do the refs have the ability to use the Yellow Line on the field to determine if a play was a first down or not?

I looked over several times and came up with this as the moment his elbow hit the ground.

With the yellow line (which isn't official) It seems like he might be short.  But in this case the yellow line is just past the line to gain....

But this view shows the line on the other side of the 19.....

So obviously you can't trust the yellow line in the first place....

And there is NO WAY you can tell me in the first shot anyone has any idea that he is down before the line to gain without that yellow line....
