The ball just happened to hit his hand and THEN he reacted.. He doesn't need to look for the ball. That's what I'm trying to tell you. He knows where the ball is going (Heuerman's hands). Receivers are taught not to show your hands until the last possible moment. If you show them early, it makes it easy for the defender to get his hands on the ball. He already knew where it was going because the TE put his hands up. His hand was in a position to make a play on the ball because he put it there because he was reading the TE and knew where the ball was going to be. Youve got this all wrong.
