TheKillerNacho
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/08/15/report-rey-maualuga-working-out-for-dolphins/ Wouldn't mind signing an experienced veteran like Maualuga after losing McMillan and Misi. We really do need the Linebacker help. He was a solid starter for the Bengals although he was always a bit of a disappointment from his draft hype. Think he could be a fit for us though. Thoughts? cddolphin
Dolphins have a meager $7.8m in cap space right now. At this point I'd rather see what Hull brings to the table.

He's a run-down only LB at this point. Only played around 32% of defensive snaps for Cincy last year, and just over 50% in 2015.

Dolphinmeister
He was signed today 1 year deal and is mainly known for his run defense which is what Miami needs. Burke had him when he was LB coach at Cincy so he knows what this guy can do.

ericsvibe
Rey can replace Hull in short yardage situations. Hull is a great coverage, all around MLB, but he lacks in run support. He just doesn't have the size to fight off O-lineman. With Rey in there, he can bring some thump to the middle of the defense.
TheKillerNacho
We needed the depth, for sure.
