patriotsheatyan
Worst you’ve seen them hold a team back for a game? Worst you’ve seen them hold a team back for a season? Worst you’ve seen them hold a team back for many seasons?

rich homie
If we're going just QB's, it has to be Kerry Collins for the Colts in 2011. Non-QB's get more interesting. For the course of a season, I'd have to say Gilbert Gardner in 2006 was particularly terrible. Immediately after he was benched the Colts run defense went from being the worst in NFL history to stopping Larry Johnson for 32 yards on 13 carries. Thelonebillsfan
Justin Rogers was such a piss poor CB he cost the Bills at least 3 games in two seasons where we easily could have made the playoffs.
JAF-N72EX
2006 Bears. They had an elite defense, running game and ST's but Grossman cost them a SB. Grossman started out hot after finally being healthy for once and when defenses got more tape on him it was all downhill from there.

Malik
If the 09 and 10 Jets had even an average QB they could have won at least 1 Super Bowl off of that defense.
ronjon1990
Andy Dalton. Not that he's terrible by any means, but a true franchise QB would've made at least 1 Superbowl with some of these Bengals teams. Cincy is stuck between a rock and a hard place with him. As for truly bad? Max Hall and John Skelton with Arizona.

ET80
Matt Schaub? Those Texans teams in the 2011-2012 seasons were scary good on defense, and had both Arian Foster and Andre Johnson at the peak of their careers. Schaub played well enough to not lose games, but of the Texans had a true franchise QB (like when Peyton Manning was rumored to want to join the Texans after his release from Indy) they could have done more. Chargers
Derrick Cox a Free Agent signing the Chargers made in 2013. He is probably the worst CB I've seen in Charger uniform. So bad that Jake Locker looked like an All Pro throwing his way.
