DirtyDez
Corbin is such a guarantee to the Yankees I thought he’d come out of the bullpen last night.
tom cody
Yankees need pitching help, a guy like Corbin would help big time with that for sure.

BayRaider
A’s need to call up AJ Puk and Jesus Lozardo this season and just go for everyones throat. Both are Top 25 Ranked Prospects and can be excellent starting pitchers, especially in that park. A’s can’t win big games, call up two possible aces, and keep the offense intact. Heck, can even add to the offense. This team won 97 games in a potential year. Go for the throat this year. Go big, or go home, Beane. How many first round playoff losses will you make fans suffer through?

Not winning without being ultra aggressive. So tired of it.

You obviously call up Luzardo. Not sure if we have the capability to go out and grab a big name FA pitcher to go with this group though. We are set around the infield and in the outfield with basically that same lineup as last year except Barreto/Pinder at 2B instead of Lowrie. Hopefully mid year we can call up Murphy. At least with the Red Sox and Astros they see what fits their team and don’t just rush to find all the shiny new toys. Fits and team chemistry are big components to a baseball team. Not to mention Red Sox and Astros both look at a lot of metrics. Yankees, sign biggest player is their holy strategy. Greatly ran baseball team. Yeah, Red Sox didn't do anything like that when they gave Price $217 million or JD Martinez $110 million The Yankees have one of the best young cores in baseball with plenty of homegrown players and a strong front office that embraces analytics. But yes, all they do is sign big name players.

They haven't been the George Steinbrenner Yanks for awhile now. They will still sign Manny Machado this offseason (almost a lock now that Didi needs TJS and will miss the first half of 2019), but that doesn't mean they aren't well run.
