TecmoSuperJoe
2005 Week 15 Kansas City Chiefs (8-5) at New York Giants (8-5) Saturday Dec 17, 2005 Start Time: 5:11pm Stadium: Giants Stadium Attendance: 78,625 Time of Game: 3:20 This was a good one. Two 8-5 teams making a playoff push in their respective conferences duking it out. Last year of the **** Vermeil offensively powerful, but defensively lackluster squads. They made Tiki Barber look like Christian Okoye in this game. There weren't 7 seeds back then, and I was fine with the previous structure, but some years I do wish there was a 7th seed. Would have liked to have seen the Chiefs/Chargers in the playoffs that year.
TecmoSuperJoe
2005 Week 14 Chicago Bears (9-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5) Sunday Dec 11, 2005 Start Time: 1:02pm Stadium: Heinz Field Attendance: 61,237 Time of Game: 3:00 Everyone knows this as the game where Brian Urlacher got run over by Jerome Bettis. Anyway, I always thought this game was a good hallmark to the days old. You have two franchises historically known for having a "smashmouth/run the football and play great defense" identity squaring off in the snow. Steelers coming off three straight losses got the W here against a surging Bears teams that had won eight straight. The Steelers also wouldn't lose another game all season eventually becoming Super Bowl 40 champions.

TecmoSuperJoe
2004 Week 16 Green Bay Packers (8-6) at Minnesota Vikings (8-6) Friday Dec 24, 2004 Start Time: 3:00pm Stadium: Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome Attendance: 64,311 Time of Game: 3:05 The crown for the NFC North in 2004 came down to the wire in week 16. Two teams with two high powered offenses, but unremarkable defenses. The previous meeting in week 10 was a close one, and this second meeting lived up to the billing if you liked high scoring. Vikings lost this day again, and the NFC crown, but of course got the last laugh at Lambeau field a couple of weeks later.
TecmoSuperJoe
2010 NFC Divisional Playoff Green Bay Packers (11-6) at Atlanta Falcons (13-3) Saturday Jan 15, 2011 Start Time: 8:15pm Stadium: Georgia Dome Attendance: 69,210 Time of Game: 3:03 Been a while since I had seen this. Rodgers at his best. The earlier meeting in late November was a close affair with the Falcons getting the edge 20-17. Not so much this time as the Packers waltzed into Atlanta and blew out the Falcons 48-21. Packers were on fire at this time, and the Falcons squandered one of their better seasons in franchise history.

TecmoSuperJoe
1993 Week 7 Los Angeles Raiders (3-2) at Denver Broncos (3-2) Monday Oct 18, 1993 Start Time: 9:00pm Stadium: Mile High Stadium Attendance: 75,712 This was a really good one between two of the better squads in the league, and it's probably one of the best MNF games of the 1990's. There really isn't much more you can ask from a football game with this gem. Broncos in the first half were embarrassing themselves against their division rival (Elway was under pressure all night), but roared back in the second half. The 4th quarter was pretty wild, and the finishing score capped off a nutty night.
