Granted. But what about those fringe 75 dudes that get an opportunity and latch on while teams hold onto those fringe 53? Ya know? Now, it just floods the market all at once. I don't know. Seems to be worse for everyone. I'd like to hear the league's reasoning behind it.

I also preferred the staggered approach, I was just playing devil's advocate.

How the h3ll Howie manage that? I say hold off. Brock doesn't interest me. Got to give them young guys reps to grow. Just like making a rookie QB throw 600+

Trading Matthews and cutting Mathews freed up some money. But I think that's only around 5-6M. I guess with the adjusted top 51 and the little that we had makes 10M and change.

I think Kempski said the Eagles are at 12.6 in space right now.

Personally i'd rather save as much as you can as carryover for next year to help resigning Alshon and Jernigan.

yeah that would be smart of Howie.

Yea, true. Besides, if all goes right, then Jones would be starting opposite Darby anyway. I think we're already pretty tight against the cap for next year without doing anything major.

I think Howie's going for the throat this year, ain't nobody got time for next year.

I disagree. I think he's got his eye on retaining Alshon, Jernigan long term and possibly Bradham. I think he's gonna look to lock up Hicks and maybe Darby too. If Graham continues to ball. They are gonna have to pay up.for him.

I'm with Pete here, I don't think there's anything significant you can do at this point (Barring a massive unlikely trade) with that much cap space besides extensions and roll-over.

I'm not saying Howie will empty the tank, but we have wiggle room to spend, make trades, hell, even make some cuts that would otherwise cost us this year. There's zero chance Howie is done making moves. Kendricks could be moved any day now. I have no doubt he'll save enough to lock up our players for next year but I equally have no doubt we'll continue to see some moves, that are of course, reasonably attainable.
