That shouldn't be a seam. That should be a straight slant. Don't get that at all.

You mean #88 shouldnt have tilted up up the seam and just continued across the middle?
That could be - but still he was open for what would appear to be an easy reception and YAC.
Cant say what AR had in mind or was looking at - but it wound up a sack - so whatever it was didnt work out.

It's a much harder throw at that point. The ILB sinks underneath and takes away the passing lane. You can't go deep in it because you run into the Safeties. You can't throw a bullet because the ILB has dropped underneath. You really kinda need to thread the needle to drop that in.

He keeps running that slant you just lead him in. That's an easy completion. Again though, we wanted to go deep with it.

Yeah - good take - but if AR had hit #88 when he was at the 28-29 yard line - bang. The ILB was still scrambling / trailing and its clear skies ahead.
Listen, I'm not as hyper-critical of AR as others around here and "micro-coaching" things via these GIF's is problematic at best - but its this quick and easy stuff which would make our offense so much smoother - and - keep AR healthier for a longer time.

It’s set up based on the premise that the LB stays in the middle, taking the slant out.  The seam - initially at least - is a safer position until the QB can read what the LB is going to do.  If you re-watch the video, both seams are open over the top.  Seam route was fine in this case, but if Pettine catches the LB’s outside the middle, the the slant is a better option.

Cant say its schemed this way but here again we see the OLB (51) getting caught up inside and the MLB (50) getting blocked off to the outside. Result: no contain. Dont know what happened on this play.

This one reminded me of Capers Nitro package often saw allot of guys running into each other. We got what we wanted clearly 1 guy to block 2 they just didn't have a good where with all to ensure one of the two got the blocker to himself. FB looks like a guard pulling down those blocks:)

Just got settled back home in Columbus after going to the game.

Sat in the new seats for the first time. REALLY enjoyed the view, loved having concessions and a bathroom right behind me.

Re: Standing/volume at Lambeau, people in my section stood twice. For roll out the barrel and when we went for it on 4th down from the 4. What a joke. Some (very nice) middle aged women behind us were out for a “Mom night”, never saw them after the 1st quarter. And who ever selects the music for during the games needs canned.

Keep standing and yelling eventually the rest will catch on. Noise at football games is required when the other team has the ball...........too many old fuddy duddy's when i was there in 07.

Still too many old season ticket holders . Lambeau is a retirement home and it will always be that way and considering it takes upwards of 30 years to get them.  Just simply not enough new tickets for younger people to buy up.

One other element that comes into play in lambeau re:crowd noise is temps. I went to one game in lanbeau, it was October and Bout 36 degrees and most people were wearing mittens. Go to SF in december and it’s most likely in the 50s and no one is. Means appause noise is pretty muted in in GB compared to warmer climate and indoor stadiums. Definitely a factor too imo
