stl4life07
Congrats to Brees! Just think about this, had the Dolphins medical gave the ok for the Dolphins to sign Brees back in 2006 he wouldve been with Nick Saban and the Dolphins and no telling how things wouldve turned out. Like so many variables factored in. Its funny because Saints fans love Brees and what he has done for the Saints. On the other hand, they dont like the fact the Saban left the Dolphins after it was an epic fail with Culpepper and took the Alabama job and now they are a juggernaut and LSU seems to be hurt by it in the SEC. So again, Brees not signing with the Dolphins effected the Saints is a positive way but Saban failing and going to the Alabama has effected LSU in a negative way. Just crazy thinking. Winnng 1 with 1 MVP is far better than Winning 5 with 4 MVPs 145-107 is a way better record than 199-57. Who doesn't want 54 less wins for their team? 7-6 in the playoffs destroys 27-10 in the playoffs any day. All those playoff wins means so much less time for golf or cleaning the garage. Maybe you are on to something with that hot take?

NFLExpert49
Imagine if the Saints ever had a defense. He would be in the GOAT discussion.
SkippyX
ManninHGH is not even in the conversation. He won 2 Super Bowls on welfare 3 TDs to 7 picks and barely able to throw the forward pass He also had that pre-Denver recovery by illegal drugs and then mafia style witness intimidation to cover it up. What's not to love? If you love Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds then you gotta love you some 5-head. That joke played in 4 Super Bowls and his teams netted 12 points per game in those 4 games (his offense minus his pick sixes and safeties) His pathetic play in those games turned out to be a tribute to Brady's number. I always say, if you need one QB to go 1-and-done in the divisional round, Peyton is your Manning.

Maybe you are on to something with that hot take? Yeah, that's right, let's use W/L without taking into account defenses, which Brees had for 3 years running the worst defense in NFL history at the time, not to mention a worse receiving core than the "GOAT". Brady has been nothing but a god at QB, but Brees is right there with him.
