Wow, that is low.  I am sure he would choose better pizza than Pizza Ranch. LOL

Wow.  I never thought those two words would ever go together... sounds awful.

reminds me of how if you ever go to the UK, they have stuff like "Famous Arkansas Fried Chicken" or "Yankee North Dakota Fried Chicken"

Mike McCarthy, HC, Packers

This is a spicy candidate, but McCarthy could be a fit in Cleveland, according to CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Additionally, Steve Wyche of NFL Media included McCarthy on his list of possible replacements for Jackson. A couple of things would need to happen for this to work out, starting with the Packers (3-3-1 after losing to the Rams on Sunday) missing the playoffs and struggling on offense. If they miss the playoffs -- or even lose in the first round after an uninspiring regular season -- it would not be out of the question to see McCarthy and the Packers part ways. He would instantly be scooped up by another club, much in the same way Andy Reid landed in Kansas City immediately. And there are connections here, with Dorsey having worked in Green Bay at the same time as McCarthy. McCarthy would give the Browns what they have sorely needed: an experienced, veteran coach with a track record of success who can develop a young offense and center it around a first-round pick. Say what you want about McCarthy's conservative approach to in-game coaching and his reliance on Aaron Rodgers talents, he has had a ton of success in Green Bay. Packers president Mark Murphy's been engineering a serious shake up over the past year and it wouldn't be stunning if the Packers hired a different coach to take Rodgers' career down the stretch should 2018 go south.

Also, when we win the Super Bowl, Rodgers will be given undue praise in spite of our defense stepping up and keeping teams under 20 points a game in the three games leading up to the Super Bowl.  Rodgers will struggle in the Championship game, but Cousins will throw a pick six and our defense will keep the Vikings under 20 points (effectively 14 points with the pick six).  Rodgers will dominate against the Chiefs, and our defense will play admirably considering how high-powered the Chiefs offense is, but people will neglect that fact and give Rodgers all the praise.

Just getting ahead of the GOAT claims.

This sounds familiar?!?

To finish this off, Clark gets a pick six in the NFC CG and Mathews forces a fumble in the 4th quarter of the Superbowl to halt a TD drive.

Rodgers is still taking sacks, and is on pace for 73 throw aways this year. PFF puts it into context, since 2012 Big Ben has thrown the ball away 73 times. Past record is in the 40s.

Mac needs to fix the lack of rhythm and deficiencies in this offense or it should absolutely cost him his job.

The instinct when under fire will be to take MORE control.

The counter-intuitive solution will be to hand Rodgers more control.

He will not make that decision, and will be fired.

I have no idea how Mac can fix the issue of Rodgers preferring to pass up the intended route in order to find a big play.  He's always done it, the only issue is now he can't scramble to get away when the pressure comes, so he's force to throw it away.  Rodgers is 35; if he hasn't fixed this by now it's not getting fixed.

Rodgers has never led this league in this stat. He's on pace to almost double the record. As you said, Rodgers isn't charging, but if he isn't changing than why has this number grown so much?

Because he can't scramble.  Most of the throwaways would normally be scrambles, but his foot speed isn't there.

Right, so what changes to the game plans have been made.....

What change would you suggest making for your QB who passes up short timing routes to take shots?  More short timing routes?  How exactly would you expect that to improve things?

Just submit and run the plays rodgers wants to run in the first place.  The offense HUMS in 2 min situations.  And we know that rodgers calls all the plays in 2 min drill.

So give up some control and maybe your QB starts to see things from your perspective a little bit.
