75% of the carries going to one back isn't a freaking committee. Why didn't everyone moan when Lacy was taken off the field for the clearly inferior Starks? Because you can't run a single player every play. Man this Jones crap has turned half our fanbases brains into mush.

So when you look at what 33 does down in and down out, and you're OK with him touching the ball less than 10 times per game?  Maybe we run more than 53 plays if MM would commit to the fricken running game.

Not today, but clearly the mindless driveling idiots who have been pounding the keyboard for 33 to get more carries for the last 5 weeks aren't exactly mindless driveling idiots.

It's just a broken record, we know they aren't gonna give him 25 carries a game, and we freaking know he needs the ball more lol.

Tramon? No. If our coaches were good and didn't live in "veteran" land where experience is more valuable than play Tramon would be CB #5. He's clearly done.

Yeah. Sorry. Was referring to Tramon. He's "behind" in all his coverages - or it seems so to me at least. Cant say I'm seeing everything - but he's not making any plays.

Did it ever occur to you that his only having 12 touches as a RB is a big reason why we only had 52 plays. A few more runs, a few more first downs, a few more manageable 3rd downs. They go hand in hand.

The one time he had no business touching it was on the 1/2 yard line and they had 9 in the box.

There's an argument to be made that he killed the first drive.

Williams scored a TD on the second drive.

On the third drive, Jones was the back and got the carry on 3rd and 5 and only got 2 on the draw.

4th drive was the Montgomery drive. Bell got beat on 2nd down, Montgomery was dead at the snap. Nothing the back could have done.

5th drive was a Williams drive. Got hit in the backfield on first down and we then threw two incompletions.

6th drive was the safety.

7th drive was the end of half knee.

8th drive was a Jones drive. We got a FG. He only had one carry.

9th drive was a 3 and out. Williams got 5 on 1st and 10 and Rodgers threw two incompletions.

10th drive was the Jones TD drive.

11th drive was the another Jones drive. He made a poor play on the screen and then made the completion on 2nd and 9. Rodgers threw to MVS on the TD.

12th drive was a Monty/Jones split drive. 3 and out. Jones got one carry.

13th drive was the Monty fumble.

He had 6.5/11 drives.

Williams had 3.

Monty had 1.5

We dont have the OL to commit to the fricken running game. The "3 yards and a cloud of dust" days are in the NFL's rear view mirror.

Just like everyone complaining about Aaron Jones not getting the ball enough, but hey that cost us the game right? 9_9

I'd just point out that the good, great, successful offenses in the NFL give their best backs a lot more than 12 carries.  We'll never really know what we have in Aaron Jones because Mike McCarthy will never treat him like a starting, #1 RB.

We'll always be stuck having to celebrate a 12 carry game like it is a Todd Gurley or Joe Mixon or type of involvement in the offense.  12 carries is better than the last couple weeks but its not enough in games like today when he was playing like the best player on our offense.

Monty definitely has had ball security problems. I was creaming "no...no..no!!!!" when he came out of the end zone. Not because he was wasting the two minute warning, but because I just knew he was going to lose the ball. 51% of that play is on Zook. Either (a) Zook failed to tell Monty to stay in the end zone, or (b) he did tell Monty to stay in the end zone and Monty came out anyways--a lack of discipline and that too is on the coach. 49% is on Monty. You've got two minutes and Rodgers at QB. YOU JUST DON'T FUMBLE.

Monty needs to go to the doghouse and Zook just needs to go. (Let's not forget, Zook also gave up the fake punt, which turned the game around.) Only problem is who replaces Zook mid-season?

They didn't get a single yard after the fake punt.  What turned the game around was the punt on the 1 yard line and the safety.

Of course they lose by 2 after they have that ridiculous safety. Still don't know wtf they were thinking there

First time all year the Packers actually looked like a legit team IMO and yet they still find ways to come up short. If they play like this the rest of the way then I like their chances but they're running out of games to drop. Likely have to go 7-2 the last 9 to take the division I'd imagine, maybe 6-3 at worst

Really need a Vikes loss tonight

Yes, it is about rotation.

Ty was on the field to begin several series.

Why?

What value has Ty brought to the RB position the past two seasons that would require him to be on the field to start a series instead of Jones or Williams?

He was on the field to begin 2 series.

In the second one, Jones was the only RB to get a carry.

Montgomery ran the ball twice today. Montgomery getting carries wasn't the problem today.

That punt to the one made me mad .. Tramon should have been blocking someone to try and get enough time for that ball to get into the endzone.  He just stood there.

We sure as hell seemed to be running the ball just fine in the first quarter.  7.2 per carry ain't exactly 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
