Didn’t play all 16 games though but this was based on pass attempts Also keep in mind it’s not always true. In 1972 a team made the Super bowl with a qb who started 10 of 14 games and threw 11 interceptions. So you can say turnovers are important, but running game, defense and special teams scores may be just or even more important whats not debatable is that a team who has a dominant defense, great special teams and strong running game combined with low offensive turnovers is usually successful or as Kenny Beatrice used to say in the 70’s and 80’ “ most football contests aren’t won, they are lost” Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
