Kinda depends on the scheme for the safeties and the corresponding safety they’ll pair with

but my gut on each in idea situations

push I could see Savage being a Bob Sanders type player at SS but I think CGJ would be a better nickel type who could play FS Nickel or SS

Abram

Thornhill

Mullen

Amani

Julian Love easily

Byron Murphy easily by far

Chris Simms, saw a YouTube video with him listing his top 7 corners and his list definitely doesn’t line up with most

1. Greedy

2. Travon Mullen

3. Julian Love

4. Justin Layne

5. Byron Murphy

6. Rock Ya-sin

7. Deandre Baker

Thoughts on Travon Mullen, Simms has him ranked #2 in this CB class

I hope those who ranked him #2 overall at CB realize outside of the past two games, especially the last one.   Which was the best he has played all season, he had a pretty average to below average season I thought especially outside of that Alabama game.

Good talent but is more a 2nd to 3rd round talent I feel, great size and upside but still has a lot to prove as a player.

jesus if marshon and revis are his physical profile comparisons he should go top 5.

As I understand it, Isaiah Johnson is a pure press man corner.  He is a disaster at off man.  Not sure he has played zone much.  It will be a team fit.

Can somebody sell me on Darnell Savage? He seems like a great athlete that doesn't understand how to play the game.

He anticipates and makes an impressive flash play or he miss steps and gives up a big play. There's a lot of talent to work with. It'll be coaching and how he prepares, whether he'll build on what he does or stay a hit or miss unreliable player.  He needs to improve his discipline and strength to be a starter at either S or CB.

He's a missile. Let him play in a "see ball get ball" type role or in the slot.

Whew, teams will double move the life out of him with that or anything that requires eye discipline. I am super intrigued by him though, I agree he needs to do what he excels at, but he probably needs to work on eye discipline and taking more calculated risks and he could be a stud
