MortexLion
So from what I've gathered so far is that he's scared and didn't know what to believe in regards of what concussions can do after having multiple. He got looked at by Doctors which said you're screwed anyway so might as well keep going. Hope hes not doing this just for the team but he did state he definitely will be thinking of retirement after this season because of this.
Lionized
He’s been hurt for the past couple seasons and add this on top of it. I can’t blame him and he’s made his money. It will be sad to see him go but can’t knock a guy for thinking of his future.
Nnivolcm
Quote Lang said he visited “three or four” specialists in recent weeks, including the same Brighton clinic that former teammate Haloti Ngata sought counsel from just over a year ago, and he acknowledged that at least one warned him about the dangers of continuing to play football. “A few of them had different opinions,” Lang said. “But for the most part it was, ‘I think you’ll be fine to play. I don’t think there’ll be ramifications further down the line if you continue to play.’ There were some tough conversations for sure, but it is what it is.” https://www.freep.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2018/10/18/detroit-lions-tj-lang-concussion/1688083002/
