pf9
Since 2015, the NFL has allowed all games to air in the market of origin, regardless of sellout status. But in most cases, no games are still allowed to air opposite a home game in the team's primary market, forcing those who want to watch an alternative game to subscribe to Sunday Ticket, which can be problematic in markets with poor-performing NFL teams. This came to a head last year, when the Browns went 0-16, and whenever they were home, their games were the only ones allowed to air on Cleveland television in their time slots. For those in the market who weren't Browns fans, this did not sit well with them. The NFL should take the step of eliminating this rule and be fully rid of the blackout rules that plagued their television contracts for years. megatechpc
Well obviously I agree with you but I don't think we will be seeing that happening in the near future. The NFL wants people to sign up for Sunday Ticket after all and they know that a lot of sales are dependent on people who live in different cities from their favorite teams. 3rivers
don't waste your time with TV broadcasts, there are better options and no need to care about blackouts. It's a thing of the past

But how do you determine what other teams' games should be shown in Cleveland when the Browns aren't playing well? Take a poll locally first?
