ny92mike
Wichita Woodpeckers Offense: 60/40 Pass/Run In passing game I'll be looking to move Gabriel around the formation to give Berlin different looks on offense in order to get Gabriel open quick and use his speed to get YAC. We will also use screens with him to get some blockers in front and to get him to find a hole. The opposite receiver will rotate based on situation between Fitz, Crabtree and Nelson as each brings their own unique talents to the table. We will also heavily use or 2 TE sets to take advantage of Berlins LB core coverage. Peterson will stay in to pass protect on most downs, but when Ito subs in he can be flexed out in order for Goff to diagnose coverage and find cfc the open seam. Running game will be split with Peterson and Smith. With our line nearly at full health and additional blockers we should find some running lanes pretty easily. Defense: Berlins run game is terrible so we will sell out for the pass. * Send extra blitzes to rush Cousinscthrow as he is not accurate under duress. * Both safety's will help cover deep as Berlin deploys two deep threats in Jackson and Hill. Outside cornerscwont have specific assignments while Poole maintains coverage on slot. Kuechly and Lee will have TE/RB responsibility respectively. If either RB/TE is held into block, the LB assigned will be an additional blitzer. *Rotate at DT and DE regularly to keep bodies fresh. Berlin Blitzkrieg Offense TL;DR - Run enough to keep the D honest, use short passes to supplement the run game and make their CBs come up, and then take our deep shots. Wichita has a very nice DL, a stud in Kuechly, and a good pair of safeties. However, their CBs are not as good. That’s where we attack. 3 WR - Tyreek, DJax, Golladay, and Burton. We are going to move Burton all over the formation to get a matchup that we like and to give us an idea of man or zone. If a LB is on him, we will split him out. If it’s a DB, we will bring him in. We are going to have our guys run all over. Look for a mix of quick screens/slants and deep shots. We want to try and force the subpar CBs to press up to defend against those quick passes before blowing past them. And those quick passes will supplement the run game. Both of our OTs can move, and we are going to have them pull out on those quick WR screens to block the slot CB or LB and give us a numbers advantage. We will take advantage of a lighter box and run the ball enough to keep Wichita honest. We will rotate both our RBs to keep them fresh. Both are great in the passing game and pass pro, so we will use them in screens and out in the flat. Also, look for a lot of draws to keep their DL from just teeing off as well as standard runs. We will use Burton as an additional blocker on the screens when we move him out. But he will not be ignored in the passing game. We will take selected shots to our TE and RB so the D has to respect them. 4 WR/1 RB - This formation will be used to further stress their CBs. We will use the same mix of quick and deep passes as above. The RB will be used the same as above. 5 WR - Wichita has a solid DL. But we think our OL is better and can hold off the pass rush even when they know we are throwing. And there is no way that secondary can defend our WRs for any length of time. 3 WR 50% - 4 WR 40% - 5 WR 10% Defense TL;DR - Numbers in the box, erase the run game, remove any deep threat, force them to try and dink and dunk. Honestly, Wichita’s OL is a bit of a mess right now. Conklin has been not good this year, Brown is meh, and the interior is average at best although Glasgow has been solid and Nelson has flashed. We think we can win up front. We will put Lawrence at LE, Daniels over Jones, and Williams in the gap between Glasgow and Nelson to force their attention. At RE, we will rotate in a number of guys to get the job done against Brown. 2 TE - In our base set, 8 men will be in the box to give us numbers. Haha takes Cook and Tremaine takes Olsen who is not fully recovered. Kiko and Rashaan focus on the run game as AP has been impressive. Putting 8 in the box against Goff sounds like a bad idea, but our CBs can hold up just fine. Bouye takes Jordy/Crabtree. Darby and Kazee bracket the other WR which will likely be Gabriel. 3 WR - Darby at LCB, Bouye at RCB, and Hilton in the slot. Kazee will sit in a middle zone shaded to Gabriel’s side as no one else on Wichita is a deep threat. Haha plays up in the box on the TE to put 7 close to the line and aid in the run game. Rashaan and Tremaine key the run game.

TedLavie
Wichita offense is just too limited right now. Berlin 26-
Jlash
I'm not sure if PR is trying to lose or he's just a fan of the most minimal game plan around. After seeing Dingo's game plans all year I don't hate it all that much. Berlin finally has weapons that can threaten all over the field, and that will serve them huge in this game. Berlin wins. Xmad
Berlin is just the healthier team here, plus Wichita's weapons are blegh.
bcb1213
I wouldn't want to leave Darby on an island often. He's given up a handful of huge gains this year but Wichita isn't gonna be able to keep up Berlin 38-
Scoundrel
I didn’t get enough sense of what Wichita was doing here? I know nothing about their run game except they are splitting carries... Berlin has more firepower on offense too with Hill and Jackson.
Whicker
I really do not want to vote for a barebones gameplan like Wichita's. Berlin is the more talented team and Wichita's weapons will generate little offense.
PR
I have 0 wins fellas. I'm not going to write out full fledged game plans just to hear my weapons suck week in and week out and that's why people are against. It serves no purpose. Fitz is stuck on an offense in which a rookie QB is trying to survive behind a garbage oline. Crabtree is a legitimate #2 WR and is in a 3 WR core that is lighting up defenses, but since he isnt a burner and is solely a stellar possession receiver he doesnt get love. Jordy while having some solid games and is legitimate TD threat doesnt get the yards because Carr falling off a cliff this year. Cant fight against a person's opinions. RuskieTitan
Feel that Berlin came in a bit more prepared, Wichita running game and defensive plan seem rather basic.
